A national survey of Lesbian and Gay couples is being undertaken by Partners: The Newsletter For Gay & Lesbian Couples. The research will help determine the nature and needs of this often invisible segment of the gay community. The last major survey of gay and lesbian couples was conducted almost ten years ago.

All gay men and lesbians in a relationship are asked to participate in the survey. The short, anonymous questionnaire requests general information on subjects such as discrimination, finances, children, relationship problems, and sources of relationship support.

To request survey forms, write PARTNERS, Box 9685, Seattle, WA 98109 and include a self-addressed stamped business envelope. Groups or organizations are encouraged to request and distribute multiple copies. The PARTNERS mailing list IS confidential, never sold or loaned.

A Lesbian Mothers Group will be forming in the next two months. If you are interested please call Another State of Mind at 521-1460.

In the Kitchen with Auntie Ray

I heard a knock on the door. When I opened it I found Henny Penny there, looking distraught. She came in and began to pour out her tale of woe. "Nobody is buying eggs and I'm going to be sent to the soup pot." I poured her a cup of herbal tea and pointed out that eggs are high in cholesterol. "no they aren't! Just the yolks are and you can cook without them," Henny cackled. Try and make deviled eggs without yolks I countered. She then gave me the recipe for "Henny Penny Eggs".

6-8 hard boiled eggs, shelled.

1-8oz cream cheese (room temp). 2-3 TBL milk.

1/2-1 tsp tabasico sauce

1 TBL yellow mustard

Cut the egg in half, remove the yolk and discard. Cream together the cream cheese, milk, tabasico sauce, and mustard. Pipe or spoon into egg halfs.

Variations: Add in addition to instead of tabasico sauce 1/2 cup of the following; freshly chopped green onion; chives, carrots, bell peppers, olives, pimento cheese (grates hard), bacon bits, sunflower seed,

etc.
